A Decade

On Friday we will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary. 10 years! 10 YEARS! 

Seriously.

In just two weeks we will also be ending a decade of being homeowners of one-two-four Washington Street. So much life lived! So many memories made! 

A decade of laughing, praying, fighting, listening, growing, understanding, knowing, caring, working, cheering, self-dying - marriage loving. 

A decade of carrying, loving, cleaning, wiping, kissing, rocking, 

dancing, heart giving - family building. 

A decade of celebrating, laughing, eating, talking, sharing, skyping - friendship growing.

A decade of planting, trimming, caring, weeding, watering, 

growing, memory making - backyard playing.

A decade of sun shining, snow falling, wind blowing, cloud covering, storm baring - seasons turning.

 A decade of baking, cooking, whisking, boiling, stirring,
 chopping, mixing - tummy filling.

 A decade of bed making, laundry folding, bathroom scrubbing, table wiping, 

carpet cleaning, dish washing - home-creating.

A decade of hopes and tears, dreams and fears.
High valleys, low peaks,
Gummy grins and chubby cheeks
Penny pinching, future building
Faith growing, Christ leading
Life oh so worth all the living.
